SAVOR THE ITALIAN SEASIDE

Mirabella redefines coastal Italian dining at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Helmed by five-time Michelin-starred Chef Michael White, guests are immersed in fresh flavors of both land and sea that reflect the rich heritage of coastal Italian cuisine.

We worked for The David Collins Studio (“DCS”) on Mirabella and redesigned their lounge-bar and restaurant concept befitting the eclectic and sophisticated Fontainebleau Miami Beach location. DCS created a vibrant primary colour palette of citronella yellow, scarlet red, and lapis blue takes initial inspiration from the golden age of Morris Lapidus’ 1950s architecture and interiors. DCS conceptualised an imagined dialogue between the era of Morris Lapidus and the colours of Italy’s Amalfi Coast (perhaps best encapsulated at Positano’s iconic Franco’s Bar). The link between Chef Michael White’s Southern Italian cuisine and the hotel’s seafront location is strengthened by two extravagant terraces, riotous with colour, pattern and texture.
