Dreamer Juice
Miami Beach
Restuarant
2017
Designing Dreamer Juice in Miami Beach was a task to capture a lifestyle as it was about creating a storefront. Our vision for the owner, Adile was to deliver a crafted space to her that embodied health, wellness, carnival and aspiration—an environment where people could set the rhythm of their day.

Pastel tones were carefully introduced into the palette—muted aquas, soft corals, and clean whites—to echo the beachside landscape and Miami’s iconic architecture. These hues set the stage for the natural vibrancy of the juices themselves, allowing product packaging to take visual center stage.
The layout was designed around movement and flow with major priority on the prep areas. We wanted the space to feel intuitive, like the act of walking into a beach-front plant nursery rather than standing in line at a counter. The juicing stations were positioned as performance zones, where preparation is visible and transparent, offering trust and explanation of the preparation process. Seating was intentionally limited, encouraging a culture of grab-and-go energy, while still offering a few comfortable nooks for those who needed to linger.
Materiality played a critical role in the design. We incorporated natural woods, concrete, and greenery to establish a connection with wellness and sustainability. Light-filled interiors, achieved through back-lit openings in the ceiling and strategically placed mirrors, enhance the feeling of openness and invite the Miami sun to be part of the experience.
At night, subtle lighting shifts the atmosphere toward something more intimate—dreamlike, true to the brand’s name.

The branding itself influenced every design decision. “Dreamer” suggests ambition, creativity, and freedom, and we wanted customers to feel that sensibility as soon as they entered. Typography and wall graphics were applied sparingly but deliberately, blending minimalist iconography with motivational cues. Each detail—down to the curve of a countertop or the choice of plant species—was chosen to reflect optimism and clarity.
Ultimately, our task for Dreamer Juice was to absolve Adile from the headache associated with permitting a dry-use restaurant, then aligning architecture with her lifestyle and brand. It’s not just a juice bar; it’s a statement of how design can energize daily rituals and make wellness feel aspirational.
In Miami Beach, where aesthetics and vitality are always intertwined, Dreamer Juice adds to the city’s evolving story: a place where design meets health, and where the dreamer’s mindset becomes part of everyday life.
